  • 2 tbsps Crystal Farms® butter
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 can (14 oz) chicken broth
  • 4 oz cooked ham, chopped
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in flour. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until mixture is smooth. Bring mixture just to a boil over medium low heat.
  • Add ham, milk, salt and ground red pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes or until mixture is thickened and flavors are blended.
  • Add cooked pasta and shredded cheese. Cook until cheese is melted.
