Step 1
Ingredients
2 sheets
puff pastry, defrosted according to instructions
4 oz
ham
4 oz cut into 12 slices
Pepper Jack Natural Thin Sliced Cheese
4 oz
turkey
4 oz cut into 12 slices
Mild Cheddar Sliced Cheese
4 sprigs
thyme leaves
1 Tbsp
Optional Dijon mustard, raspberry jam
1
egg
1 Tbsp
heavy cream
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425˚F.
In a small bowl with a fork, whisk together the egg and heavy cream. Set aside.
Defrost 2 sheets of puff pastry according to instructions and slightly roll out the pastry. Cut each pastry into 6 even rectangles (cut once long wise and then each half into thirds). Place the 12 rectangles onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Ham and Pepper Jack: Spread mustard on each pastry. Place a piece of slightly rolled up ham and 2 slices of pepper jack on the center of each pastry.
Turkey and Cheddar: Spread raspberry jam on each pastry. Place a piece of slightly rolled up turkey and 2 slices of cheddar on the center of each pastry.
Brush the outside edges of the rectangle with egg wash.
Pinch two of the corners. Press slightly to seal the pastry over the filling, leaving the two other corners exposed.
Brush the outside of the puff pastry with egg wash. Sprinkle thyme and everything bagel seasoning on top.
Bake for 16-20 minutes, until they are a deep golden color.
